Why me?

I love doing this!
It makes me happy to transform someones life by transforming their home.

I am patient and thoughtful - there are no judgements. I have worked with clients with OCD, ADD, and chronic disorganization issues. I am empathetic and creative, and know this may not be easy to do alone, whether your project is a large or a small one. I have had clients who panic even when they are discussing what they want to do – and they’ve told me that my help makes them feel lighter and more free.

I have been doing this for friends and family for many years, simply because I just couldn’t help myself - and I knew I could help make their lives easier and better.

I graduated Parsons School of Design NY with a BFA and during my 25-plus year career, I have produced award-winning work as a creative director in fashion, beauty and design. My experience has included extensive work at advertising agencies creating print and television campaigns, often art directing the sets and rooms used as locations. My vision and design aesthetic enable me to declutter, organize, curate and design your space with results you never thought possible.

I have an excellent eye for furniture layout, and a confident grasp of form and function.

There is immense freedom in knowing that if someone drops by, your home is ready and you can truly enjoy the visit! And for some clients it’s been a while since they let people other than the building superintendent in.

I have reinvented, decorated and re-decorated my own apartment many times
(see my page “one apt/40 years”).

I’m not a minimalist – I have stuff, and lots of it. I have many collections, but both my apartment -
which is sleek in white and grey - and my weekend house - which is very English country filled with color, cabbage roses and plaids - feel calm and welcoming. Because the environments are organized, people can enjoy what I have collected without feeling overwhelmed by it.

I want to give you renewed happiness and joy in your home.
Whether you are a collector, looking to organize your treasures, or if minimalism is your goal - a sleek and Zen space with an “elegant sufficiency” - that’s what I’ll give you.

I want to give you a newfound happiness and joy in your home.
