BEDROOM

This cottage was a total redo of the living room and bedroom. I kept most of the existing furniture and only bought 2 new chairs and a hassek that open for storage for the living room and a TV table that held lots of cards, cords etc.. I worked with a painter who did both rooms in a sunny yellow in both rooms and got rid of the old pink carpeting and new engineered wood floors in cherry were laid in both rooms. I moved the large cabinet from the living room to the bedroom and centered the eating table and chairs to a wall. 

In the bedroom the bed was moved under the windows which allowed side tables for lamps on each side of the bed. The white dresser was moved to were the bed was. I added a wrap-around high book shelf to hold treasured books and dolls. Shorter roaman shades were added to each window instead of 2 long ones. Another storage hassek was added to store blankets. The cabinet from the living room now holds the TV in the bedroom and the tall dresser that was in the corner with the TV was moved to an small unused wall. Sweet old posters and prints were taken out of storage and hung for added charm. 
Everything is now balanced and has good flow.
